2025 Mercedes-AMG G63 price and specs: New G-Wagen nears Australian showrooms
Mercedes-AMG’s enhanced G63 SUV is going on sale in Australia next week, but despite benefitting from upgrades its price is unchanged.
Revealed in March, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG G63 has received a mild facelift after being comprehensively redesigned and re-engineered in 2018.
Visual changes are limited to tweaked front and rear bumpers, a new grille and a touchscreen infotainment display.
Under the bonnet, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine continues to produce 430kW and 850Nm, but it’s now equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system which can assist by providing an additional 15kW and 200Nm.
Priced from $368,400 before on-road costs, the G63’s price remains unchanged from the pre-facelift model, though it’s still more than $120,000 dearer than when the model first arrived with its 4.0-litre engine in 2019.

Safety enhancements to the G63 for 2025 include standard lane-keep assist, active steering assist, and emergency stop assist, while there’s now standard keyless entry.
A new ‘off-road cockpit’ function includes a 360-degree camera system enables a virtual transparent hood that shows you on the screen what’s under the front wheels.
Australian customers can option an AMG Performance package, which raises the top speed to 240km/h (up 20km/h) and cuts its 0-100km/h sprint time by one-tenth, down to 4.3 seconds.
The 2025 Mercedes-AMG G63 will go on sale on November 27.
