Alan Jones hit with fresh charge over 11th alleged victim

Radio giant Alan Jones has been slapped with a fresh charge of assault with an act of indecency relating to an 11th alleged victim.
Mr Jones pleaded not guilty to another 34 charges relating to 10 alleged victims in December last year.
After the mention he told reporters outside he was “certainly not guilty”.

“I will not be engaging in a running commentary in the media, but I want you to understand this: These allegations are either baseless or distort the truth,” Mr Jones said.
The former 2GB host was issued a Court Attendance Notice for the additional assault charge on Friday.

He is set to front Downing Centre Local Court on March 11 where a brief of evidence of his other charges is also expected to be heard.
Mr Jones was initially required to live at a Sydney address according to his bail conditions, however the conditions were relaxed in December, allowing him to temporarily stay elsewhere so long as he gave police at least 72 hours notice.
The 83-year-old was already facing a string of charges including committing an aggravated indecent act and sexually touching a person without consent, as well as assault with an act of indecency.
The charges were related to 10 complainants, and are alleged to have taken place between 2001 and 2019.
