A healthy crowd attended the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s sundowner on January 30 with attendees hearing first-hand experiences with accessibility in Albany.
The City of Albany’s Good Access is Good Business project was highlighted during the business community catch-up, which aims to work with businesses in Albany to encourage accessibility.
City of Albany Access and Inclusion Working Group member Bob Rees told attendees of his first-hand and lived experience as a paraplegic following a motorcycle accident in 2019.
Dylan’s on the Terrace owner Morris Blake also talked on accessibility improvements made to the cafe and impact of the changes.
