Man in 20s injured in motorcycle accident on Foster Beach in Bremer Bay taken to Albany Health Campus

A man who crashed his dirt bike on a remote beach in Bremer Bay on Monday has been taken to Albany Health Campus with an ankle injury. The man in his 20s was riding a dirt bike along Foster Beach when it is understood his foot slipped from the bike. The incident was reported at 9.04am on Monday with a St John WA spokesperson confirming that the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and State Emergency Service were deployed to assist with the retrieval of the injured man. He has been taken to Albany Health Campus. The crash comes eight days after a 25-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in an off-road crash on Nanarup Road, about 30 minutes east of Albany. The man was given medical treatment by responding St John WA officers but was declared dead at the scene.
