Beach’s hat-trick
Cable Beach have continued to assert dominance over the competition after a third straight victory in round three of the 2018 KAMS WKFL women’s season.
The round kicked off on Friday with Cable Beach squaring off against the Peninsula Bombers.
Cable Beach’s strength proved too much for the Bombers and they managing a decisive victory at 96-25.
On Saturday, the Derby Tigers showed strength on their home turf with a second straight victory over the Saints.
In a low-scoring affair, the Tigers triumphed36-22.
A week off due to a postponed game did not affect the Looma Eagles’ form as they picked up their second win of the season over the Bidyadanga Emus, 67-6.
Round four will kick off on Saturday with Cable Beach taking on the Derby Tigers, the Peninsula Bombers squaring off against the Looma Eagles, and the Saints looking to pick up a win against the Bidyadanga Emus.
