Broome man Johnny Bell pleads not guilty to inciting minors for sex at popular Broome fast-food chain

A Broome man charged with a string of child sex offences alleged to have occurred in a popular fast-food chain in May has pleaded not guilty. Johnny Bell, 41, is alleged to have approached a group of young girls in a popular fast-food franchise near Male Oval in Broome’s busy Chinatown on Saturday, May 21. He was arrested soon after by the West Kimberley Joint Response Team. Mr Bell was charged with five counts of inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual behavior and two counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years. He appeared in Broome Magistrate’s Court on Monday, pleading not guilty to all charges. The man is due to appear in Broome District Court in February 2023.
