Derby Speedway regular Rowan Drysdale travelled to Manjimup last week to compete in the WA State Titles from January 26 to 28.

Held at the Manjimup Speedway, the SSA 2022-23 Sedan WA State Title saw 49 of the top speedway racers from across the state go head to head for title glory.

After a full day of practice runs on Thursday, competitors were ready to tear up the track and outgun their opponents in an attempt to take out the top spot in the competition.

On the first night of the title, Drysdale competed in three 10-lap races in heats two, nine and 12.

Drysdale performed well, consistently finishing just under the top five positions with the Derby racer sitting 25th on the scoreboard at the end of the night.
