Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes multiple fresh faces to leadership positions

The Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s executive has had a refresh as it looks to plan its year ahead. Several new members of the organisation’s executive committee were appointed at Wednesday night’s annual general meeting, with the team to help guide the chamber’s direction through 2025. Laminex Group’s Danny Griffin will continue in his role as BGCCI president for his fourth year, supported by vice president Kim Jones from HHG Legal Group. Rounding off the main office-holders are South Regional TAFE’s Mike Ansell as treasurer, and Bunbury Basketball Association’s Marina Quain as secretary. Some of the portfolio lead positions on the executive are changing hands, with Seven West Media South West editor Amber Lilley to head up the Women in Business initiative. Baker Drafting Solution’s Kate Baker will handle membership and marketing, and Aqwest’s Claire Anderson will head the South West Leaders program. Forrest Personnel chief executive Lynne Harwood has been appointed to lead the Geographe For Purpose portfolio, with Koombana Financial owner Jack Manoni (Young People in Business) and South Regional TAFE Aboriginal development officer Kim Narkle (Aboriginal Business Engagement) rounding out the executive committee. The BGCCI thanked David Emerson, Mikaela Kerwin, Rhys Veen, Cristal Fletcher and ex-officio Jason Mennell for their work on the executive committee, alongside Todd Brown, who resigned during the year.
