A man has been left with a broken foot following a suspected hit-and-run in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The West Australian understands the 43-year-old was hit by a car on Anderson Street, Mt Hawthorn, about 11pm on Saturday.
The man suffered a broken ankle and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for surgery.
“I heard the guy struggling and then next thing I heard was him screaming and calling for help,” one witness told 7NEWS.
The 43-year-old was seen speaking to someone known to him at Glendalough Train Station earlier in the evening.
Police are investigating the incident.
