City of Greater Geraldton brings back family-friendly Films on the foreshore

A series of family-friendly films will hit the beach when Films on the Foreshore starts again this Friday.

City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said he was pleased to announce the popular event would be returning for another season.

“Films on the Foreshore is a family favourite and we’re pleased to be able to present another ripper line-up of titles,” he said.

“From new titles such as DC League of Superpets and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish to cult classics like The Princess Bride and The Iron Giant, there is sure to be a movie night to please everyone.

“So dig out your best picnic rug, mark your calendars and start your snack list now, as the first film airs this Friday, March 31.”

The eight-week season starts with a screening of The Lego Movie 2 this Friday, March 31.

All screenings will be rated PG and begin at 7pm or from sunset onwards.
