Clear blue sky makes for picture-perfect day at Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s 2024 Lorna Mitchell Spring Festival

With clear blue skies, lush green grass and a bustling selection of stalls, Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s 2024 Lorna Mitchell Spring Festival made for a picture-perfect day. Close to 6000 people walked through the gates of Hammond Park on Sunday for the annual family friendly fun-filled event. From face painting and a silent disco to go-karts and train rides, there was no shortage of entertainment for attendees of all ages. The park was brimming with more than 150 stalls, showcasing Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s talented crafters and creators, while food vendors kept the crowd satisfied with a delicious selection of treats.
