Normington shines again at latest clay target meeting

Eastern Goldfields Clay Target Club member Royce Normington’s impressive form continued at the latest meeting with twin victories.

In the 25-pair double-rise, Normington led the AA/A field with 42 out of 50 from Tony Free (38/50) and Cody Price (32/50).

Andrew Twigg (25/50) was the B/C winner from Jackie Twigg (22/50).

Normington grabbed the annual mixed targets championship by carding 59 out of 60 from Matt Iwankiw (57/60) and Free (51/60).

Andrew Twigg (49/60) again led the combined B/C field from Greg Smith (43/60) and Jackie Twigg (42/60).

The club’s annual general meeting followed, with Normington and Tristan Polmear elected president and vice-president, respectively.

Other roles were filled by Matt Priest (secretary), Andrew Twigg (treasurer) and Mick Howley (club captain).
