Broome man faces charge

A 53-year-old Broome man has been charged with 35 counts of sexual penetration of a child.

He was also charged with five counts of indecent dealings with a child.

Broome detectives will allege the offences happened in Broome from 2005 to 2012.

The female victim was between seven and 14 years of age at the time.

The man appeared in Broome Magistrates Court today and was released on bail.

He will reappear on Friday, June 14.
