A Broome man is expected to face court on sly grogging charges after police uncovered one of the biggest stashes of black market alcohol on record.

Kimberley Liquor Enforcement officers said they had seized more than 126 litres of spirits and 162 litres of beer from an address in Broome on Wednesday, disrupting on of the State’s largest sly-grog operations seen in recent history.

The man has been charged with selling liquor without a licence and will appear in the Broome Magistrates's Court.
