A group of Broome parents have put their hands up to run the Auskick football program locally this year, with the task of managing in excess of 300 youngsters to be taken on by the new committee.

Following last year's co-ordinator leaving town, a committee led by Chelsea Cook, with Sam Keenan, Lou Lydeamore, Donna Dixon, Jodie McGurgan and David Fabry, has been appointed as the co-ordinator's replacement.

A registration day for the season will take place this Saturday at 9am at BRAC ovals, for children aged five to eight. The cost is $70, with cash only accepted, and the children receive a bag of goodies.

The first session will be held on Friday, May 2, to coincide with the North West Expo. After, the sessions will be held on Saturday morning from 8am, with a 10-week season in the offing.
