Broome Visitor Centre has unveiled three new marketing initiatives to attract more tourists to Broome.

A new consumer facing brand, VisitBroome, a website, www.visitbroome.com.au, and a quarterly travel magazine called Broome: The Visitor Guide were recently launched as part of BVC’s new branding strategy to target an increasingly sophisticated and multimedia savvy market, as well as the next generation of visitors to Broome.

The new website, branding and magazine were created in the last six months by the BVC’s marketing department and focuses on the unique elements of Broome and the Kimberley including strong imagery of natural beauty, culture, climate and wildlife.

BVC general manager Nick Linton said while BVC was “highly regarded” by the grey nomad market, people younger than 40 did not relate to BVC in the same way.
