Broome youngsters are set to take aim later this month, with the Net-Set-Go netball program ready to teach children the basics of the sport.

The initiative is run by Zoe Hegarty of Broome Netball Club. Anyone aged between five and 10 years is invited to come along.

The program will run from next Friday for eight weeks, from 4pm to 5pm, at BRAC outdoor netball courts.

A registration evening will be held tomorrow from 4pm to 6pm at the same venue.

The program costs $80.

Hegarty said Net-Set-Go was an enjoyable way for youngsters to stay active.

"It is an introduction to netball and gives primary school children the chance to participate in the sport," she said.

New bags, balls and T-shirts will be up for grabs.

For more information phone Hegarty on 0420 666 528.
