Christmas concert joy

Broome Advertiser

THE spirit of Christmas manifested in song and descended on the town when the Broome community choir presented the combined churches Christmas Carols event on Sunday, December 2.

Dozens of families turned out for the special evening with chairs and blankets on the grounds of the Nicholas Emo Centre.

Co-ordinator and Broome Academy of Music director Tania Praino led the passionate singers.

Little angels and shepherds graced the stage as St Mary’s College Primary School students acted out a nativity play, told the story of the birth of Jesus, then sung carols.
