Christmas murder trial on now

The trial of a 23-year-old French national accused of murdering a South Hedland man on Christmas morning in 2011 opened in Broome on Monday.

Kristopher Dixon, 32, was fatally stabbed outside a Broome nightclub in the early hours of Christmas Day in 2011. French traveller Thomas Camus is charged with one count of murder. A special sitting of the Supreme Court will preside over the hearing in Broome, which is listed for three weeks.
