Club holds open day
Broome Sailing Club held an open day last Sunday to start their season and welcome all interested members of the public onto the water.
The club sails a mixed fleet of Pacer dinghies and catamarans and launches from Gantheaume Point. Competitions are held in an open strip of water north of the moorings and south of the surf club.
The club was encouraged by interested parties attending with a view to signing up for the 2013 season.
The club plan to train every Sunday morning, with a total of 21 races in the offing for the 2013 season, which are set to be held on Sunday afternoons.
For more information on the sailing club phone Phil Cox on 0409 036 443.
