Eastern States crew share experience

Broome Advertiser

Forty retail travel agents from NSW, Victoria and Queensland experienced Broome and the Kimberley firsthand last week.

They were invited to enjoy a “mega family”, organised for them by Australia’s North West, especially created to showcase world class experiences in some of the Kimberley’s most remote and extraordinary destinations.

Divided into five groups, the agents enjoyed a range of different experiences, from touring the pearling town of Broome, journeying along Gibb River Road, to Eco Beach, Kimberley Coastal Camp and Berkley River locations.

All five groups came together at the end of their tours for a workshop and farewell gala dinner at Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa.

Meanwhile, some of the characters these agents might have come across will feature in the latest Australia’s North West campaign – a competition offering a chance to see the region through their eyes.

You could hook a barramundi with Greg Harman, meet third generation pearl farmer James Brown at Cygnet Bay, go adventuring with El Questro tour guide Larissa White, and explore the Kimberley’s arts heritage with Mowanjum artist Donny Woolagoodja.
