St Mary’s College Performing Arts students sampled a taste of Europe during the Easter holidays.

On the two-week tour several dance and drama students participated in professional workshops with performers from the Globe Theatre and London’s West End.

They also took exciting excursions including a visit to Buckingham Palace, the tower of London and Madam Tussauds.

Students also spent a day in Paris, and embarked on a grand tour of the city of lights, visiting such iconic attractions as the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Arc de Triomphe.

The students said they enjoyed learning about the history of London and Paris, and the trip was a wonderful opportunity to travel and see different places.

Student Joely Dep said it was an experience she would never forget.

“It was an experience that has opened my eyes to what else there is in the world of dance,” she said.

“We learnt from some of the most amazing choreographers and other dancers that you could learn from, they were so inspiring.”
