It's fun, it's healthy and it's back on again next month.

Entries are now open for the Live Lighter BRAC 2 Beach Fun Run on Sunday August 3 with a choice of 5km or 10km courses to suit all fitness levels.

BRAC Centre Manager, Casey Zepnick, said that as well as prizes for the fastest male, female and junior, and for the sporting group, community group or workplace with the most entrants, there was also a category for the best novelty entry.

Now in its fourth year, Mr Zepnick said the event would be bigger and better than ever and encouraged families, friends, sporting groups, community organisations and workmates to get their entries in.

"While many entrants will be taking the event competitively we believe it should also be great fun, and if you're not up to running you can walk the 5km route," he said.

Both fun run courses start at BRAC and finish beside the beach at Cable Beach Amphitheatre.

Buses will be available to return entrants to BRAC.

Early bird entry fees of $30 for adults, $15 for juniors/seniors/all access and $50 for a family of two adults and two children are available until July 28.

After that date entries are $40 for adults, $25 for juniors/seniors/all access and $60 for families.

Entry forms are available from BRAC, the Shire website at www.broome.wa.gov.au or by emailing mark.hubbard@broome.wa.gov .au.
