Live Wires on top after unbeaten start
Women’s netball is back for 2013, with the early season numbers as impressive as ever, and some exciting games in the first two rounds of action.
The second round was played on Tuesday, May 14, with competitors battling against bad weather.
In Division 1, Bullets’ first team made it two wins from two games, beating Ocean and Earth Towns 35-29.
Live Wires are also unbeaten and sit on top of the ladder. In their second game they overcame Saints Black 16-12. Black Diamonds and Scorpions’ game was called off at
half-time due to rain.
In Division 2, Bullets’ second side defeated Scorpions 2, taking the game 41-21. Subways also recorded a big victory, beating Can’t Teach This 55-11.
Saints Green were too good for Saints Gold, winning 32-8. Finally, Bullets 3 beat Monsoonal Stars 45-21.
In Division 3, Pinktadas edged Sharks 20-17. Titans are also unbeaten, and overcame Saints
White 42-13.
All Stars and LJ Ladies were embroiled in a close game, with the former winning 13-7.
