A Kimberley man has faced court after allegedly biting the bottom parts from both his sister’s ears during an incident on the outskirts of Broome.

Scott Boxer, 26, of Balgo, was charged with grievous bodily harm following the incident about 3am on Wednesday at the One Mile community.

He appeared in Broome Magistrate’s Court today where he was remanded back into custody to appear in Balgo Magistrates’ Court on June 20 for committal mention.

Broome Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Bradshaw said the man was also suspected of breaking the 21-year-old woman’s jaw during the altercation.
