Minister drops in to release new land

During a whirlwind stop in Broome last week, Regional Development Minister Brendon Grylls released the latest stage of LandCorp’s popular Waranyjarri Estate in Broome North.

As part of Stage 8B, 23 single residential lots were released for sale. Lots sizes range from 486sqm to 911sqm and prices start from $168,000.

Mr Grylls said the lots were situated near the future primary school and local parks, offering a “great package” for local couples.

“This demonstrates the State Government’s commitment to providing a continuous supply of reasonably priced land in the region,” he said. “Following the success of the Stage 8A release, the five lowest priced lots are again reserved for first home buyers to assist them into the market.”

Mr Grylls congratulated first homebuyers Troy Shelley and Belinda Cutler who recently purchased a block of land.
