Broome Advertiser

Oaks Hotels and Resorts, which owns Oaks Broome, has announced the acquisition of a second property in Broome, Oaks Cable Beach Resort.

Oaks Cable Beach Resort was previously owned by the Accor hotels group as Grand Mercure Apartments Cable Beach, and prior to that was known as Sanctuary Resort and Spa.

It comprises 155 spacious apartments, including studios, one and two-bedroom self-contained apartments along with three-bedroom villas, some with their own private plunge pool, and a central lagoon inspired pool.

Oaks Hotels and Resorts sales and marketing area director Daniel Csortan said the Cable Beach resort would open on February 1. Oaks Cable Beach Resort and Oaks Broome are two of 40 hotels and resorts in the company portfolio.
