Office supplier makes Star donation to Flying Doctor Service cause
Administration staff members at Royal Flying Doctor Service Derby base are keeping their office operations up to speed thanks to a generous donation from a Broome business.
The help-out took place after Office Star owner Rob McGregor was last month asked to repair the RFDS office photocopier.
However after the business owner assessed the copy machine’s age and capabilities, Mr McGregor instead offered to upgrade the office to newer equipment for free.
Office Star then donated a quality Toshiba multifunction device to the regional health service — a machine which allows workers to print, scan and copy documents.
RFDS regional manager Phil Strapp said he was delighted with the generous donation.
Mr McGregor said he was happy to help non-profit organisations wherever possible.
