Grab some glitter and bring out the bling because the Broome Police Legacy Ball will return in full swing.

After a year's hiatus, the charity event is back next month to raise more money for a good cause.

This year, proceeds will go to WA Police Legacy and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Organisers are encouraging the community to join in the celebrations and embrace the sparkly All That Glitters theme.

The evening will include a sumptuous three-course meal, live entertainment by popular trio Blue Bone Baby and a silent auction.

Senior Sergeant Julie Foley said she hoped to see the fundraiser well supported.

"It's a wonderful cause that's close to our hearts," she said.

"Being police officers, Police Legacy looks after those who have lost partners and looks after the children and families' welfare, not only financially but also kids' education and the family's wellbeing as a whole."

Sen. Sgt Foley said the ball would be a fabulous night, giving the community an opportunity to have fun and connect with local police officers outside of their official roles.

The ball will be held at 6.30pm at the Sam Male room at the Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa on Saturday, August 29.

Anyone interested in sponsoring the auction or making a donation should contact Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Bradshaw on 9194 0200.

Tickets cost $150 and are now on sale from the Broome Police Station. For more information, call Broome Police Station on 9194 0200.
