Pure Bliss
Australia’s award winning, chart-breaking, festival rocking, visually dazzling hip hop trio Bliss N Eso are heading to Broome.
Renowned for their spectacular audio-visual live performances, the guys promise their upcoming tour Running on Air will be their biggest to date, and one of the largest scale tours from an Australian act in years.
As part of a recent exciting Facebook competition to determine where the guys would visit as part of their tour, Broome was selected thanks to hundreds of votes and is now firmly on the map.
The trio, American MC Bliss, Australian MC Esov and DJ Izm of Moroccan heritage have been firm friends since high school, and have enjoyed lashings of success with their albums including Flowers in the Pavement, Day of the Dog: Phazed Out and Running On Air, as well as pumping the crowds with hit singles including Party at My Place, Eye of the Storm and Addicted.
Man behind the scenes organiser Pete Davies of WotNow Entertainment said keeping the news secret was the hardest part. “I knew three months’ ago, so it was the hardest secret to keep,” he said. “This is a huge treat for the people of Broome. I believe this will be the biggest event of 2011,” he said.
The guys will be playing at the Mangrove Hotel on Friday, May
13.
With tickets on sale now for $50 from the Mangrove Hotel, Chunes of Broome and Wot Now Entertainment, Pete says fans will have to be quick to get in on the deal and the talent.
“Broome needs to get excited - the offer won’t last long.”
