Diminished numbers at touch football last week due to the school holidays didn't result in a drop in standard, with top-notch performances across the board.

Rubber Ducks continued their strong run of recent form with a 10-4 victory over Phoenix Flyers.

The victors were pushed hard in the early stages but had too much in the tank in the second half. Runaways are the team to beat in B-division and put Touchables to the sword 14-4 in a one-sided affair.

Kim Courtenay was the standout in his side's victory.

Saints edged a close encounter in C-division, beating Towns FC 8-7 in an end-to-end clash.

Shayne Marshall and Regina Knight excelled for the winners.

Tagnam Style and First National Rockets are building up something of a personal rivalry in the social division, with the former taking out an 11-7 win when the sides clashed last week.

Despite showcasing superlative skills, Sharks were edged out by a consistent Wannabees side 5-3, who will look to take this morale-boosting win into the finals.

Shinju Stingers are yet to get a win this season but have been visibly improving of late.

They were unlucky to get beaten 5-4 by Broome Hash House Harriers, and acquitted themselves well.

Chalkies and Just Us could not be separated in a 12-try thriller, with the spoils ending in a 6-6 draw. Aaron Manson played an important role for Just Us. Untouchables proved too strong for Kant Touch This, winning 6-3 in a free-flowing display in the social division.

In arguably the game of the round, usual favourites Blackoutz suffered their first defeat of the campaign, losing 8-7 against the explosive Bullets.

Scoregasms and Exploders played out a B-division grudge match, with the latter victorious 3-2 in a tight clash.

Try Hards are coming good in the second half of the season and beat a usually strong Kiss My Pass side 11-5, with Glen Crimmins the best on ground.
