Twin crashes at junction
Two almost identical serious vehicle accidents have occured at the same Broome intersection within days of each other.
In the latest, a red Hyundai Elantra rolled on to its roof after colliding with the taxi van at the corner of Frederick and Carnarvon streets about 11.30am on Monday.
Police said both drivers were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Ten days earlier, a Mitsubishi all-wheel-drive rolled on its side when in a collision with a Hyundai coupe. Again, both drivers escaped injury.
A police spokesman said inquiries into the crash were continuing.
