For Derby, Ray Sampey and Mike Denham were the best each taking three wickets.

The President’s XI almost caused a major boilover when they fell just short of the Mangrove total at Male Oval on Sunday.

the bowling honours for the President’s XI with 3-10. In reply the President’s XI could only manage 4-116 with Kevin Collard top scoring with 44 while Patel made 27 and James Carpenter 23. Murton was the pick of the bowlers for Mangrove with 2-14.

In the afternoon game at St Mary’s Roebuck kept their final chances alive with a comfortable win against the Dirty Dozen.

Roebuck were in trouble early before making 8-131 from their 20 overs. The Dozen struggled in reply and losing regular wickets could only manage 8-94. Round four of the Divers 20/20 Big Bash will be played this Sunday with Derby at home to Mangrove, while back in Broome the Wanderers will take on the Dirty Dozen at St Mary’s Oval at 10.30am and at 2pm Roebuck will tackle the improving President’s XI.
