Volleyballers on the rebound

Beach Volleyball is back after a break over the Wet with a series of big games held in the first week of the competition.

A second set fightback wasn’t enough to save Thursday night newcomers The Everydays from defeat at the hands of Air Services, though the team clawed back the final set to avoid a clean sweep.

We Stink were too good for reigning champions the Cable Dogs winning 2-1 while Broomers held off last year’s powerhouse the A Team.

Wednesday night games saw Islander easily defeat She Bangs She Bangs 3-0 while Beta Blockers took down the Spikeopaths in straight sets.

Wednesday night champions What Now fought off a third set fight back from The A Team to win 3-0.
