Police have released new photos and vision related to their search of 41-year-old Fitzroy Crossing man Nigel Buck who has been found safe and well.

Mr Buck had not been seen or heard from since he left his home in the Yungngora Community, near Fitzroy Crossing, about 11pm on Tuesday.

Police said it was extremely out of character for him, with major concerns held for his welfare.

Extensive land and air resources including officers from various stations, drone operators, the AMSA Challenger Jet and specialist officers from the Perth-based Emergency Operations Unit were deployed to search the vast landscape.

WA Police confirmed on Saturday morning that he had been found safe and well about 6.30am on Saturday near the Noonkanbah townsite.

Police have since released various pieces of footage related to the search - including vision filmed by the AMSA Challenger Jet crew during a night time search.

They also released a series of photos of the search team.

Mr Buck has now been flown from Noonkanbah to Broome via the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
