Knocked Up beat Badgers

Carly LadenBroome Advertiser

Competition began to heat up in the sixth round of competition at Victory Life Church on March 14.

Despite having most of their evening games early in the season, Knocked Up managed to score a victory over the Sandy Badgers.

The match got off to an even start, with the lead changing throughout the set. It soon turned into a race to reach 25 points, with Knocked Up succeeding.

Knocked Up continued their momentum into the second set, dominating the court with consistent serves and good passing.

The final set saw Sandy Badgers pick up the pace with strong hits and better communication.

Elsewhere, it was an epic battle between two top teams, with the Old Guns narrowly prevailing over the Beta Blockers 2-1. Other teams warming up for their own matches could not help but watch the high calibre and intensity of the match.

Meanwhile, the Islanders have remained undefeated with a straight-sets victory over Set for Life, Alternative Facts bounced back with a victory over Stable Odds, and the Sandy Pancakes held off Volleyball is Life.
