Wheatbelt farmer announced as Greens Durack candidate

The Australian Greens have announced Wheatbelt farmer Ian James as their candidate for Durack at the up coming Federal Election.

Mr James, who has previously campaigned against genetically modified crops, was announced as the candidate earlier this week by Australian Greens leader Christine Milne.

All of the major political parties now have candidates in place for the seat of Durack however the date of the election is still yet to be revealed by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
