Mitchell Freeway crash: Collision near Vincent Street in West Leederville causes congestion

Motorists on their commute home from work have been urged to drive with caution after a crash on a major Perth road.

The collision on Mitchell Freeway northbound at Vincent Street in West Leederville was first reported about 3.30pm on Thursday.

The left emergency lane has been blocked as towing services work to remove the vehicles from the scene.

Main Roads WA has told drivers to exercise “extreme caution” as motorists involved in the crash are outside of their vehicles.

Just moments earlier, a four-car pile-up on Kwinana Freeway caused delays.

The collision occurred just before Mill Point Road in South Perth and slowed traffic in the area.

Main Roads WA confirmed the incident was cleared and traffic was flowing normally by 3.40pm.
