A crash, a breakdown and blacked-out traffic lights have caused major hold-ups on Perth’s roads.

Main Roads has warned motorists to slow down and give way to their right as efforts are made to get the lights at the Belmont Avenue and Wright Street intersection in Belmont working again.

A crash on Kwinana Freeway northbound at Cranford Avenue in Bateman has backed up traffic on approach.

Vehicles are in the left emergency lane and towing services are onsite.

A breakdown on Mitchell Freeway southbound at Neerabup Road in Joondalup has also slowed traffic on approach.

Drivers are warned that a tyre is being changed and to be extra careful.
