Qantas 72-hour sale: One million discounted seats across 100 domestic routes up for grabs
There’s still time to snap up a bargain in the Qantas 72-hour sale.
The sales, which began on January 21, offer customers the chance to book one million discounted seats across 100 domestic routes around Australia using cash or points.
Economy seats start from or $109 one-way or 6200 points (plus taxes, fees and carrier charges).
Qantas says more than 30 routes cost less than $150 but as usual for us here in WA, the tyranny of distance means we will pay more than that for most tickets.
The cheapest we could find (on January 21) was $189 for a Perth to Geraldton ticket, but WA travellers could also pick up one-way tickets from Perth to Sydney for $299 (24,200 points plus a $55 fee), or $319 from Perth to Brisbane (26,500 plus $55).
Sale fares are for travel from March 1 2025 to 3 April 2025, April 29 2025 to June 26 2025 and, July 22 to September 18 and includes checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages and free Wi-Fi.
The sale finishes on January 23 at 11.59pm AEDT (8.59pm here in WA), unless sold out prior.
