Bullets were crowned as Broome netball's division 1 champions on Saturday, as the local season drew to an exciting finale.

A capacity crowd was in attendance at BRAC to watch Bullets overcome Live Wires 40-34 in the top-flight grand final, making it two years in a row as Broome's top team. The game was close throughout, with an excellent array of skill and effort on show.

Bullets 2 and Bullets 3 contested the division 2 grand final, with the former victorious 34-23.

Elsie Tyrie played a significant role in her side's victory.

Pinctadas were victorious in the division 3 grand final, beating Sharks 23-18 in another close encounter.

In the juniors, Bullets won the under-10 competition, Dominators were top dogs in the under-13 and Broome Girls' Academy took out the under-15 crown.

The fairest and best players for the 2013 season were decided after the action.

Alexandra Lennox of Live Wires took the accolade in division 1, with Rebecca Fall the winner in division 2. All Stars' Leticia Keady won the division 3 award.

In the juniors Taya Stack Manado of Skittles was the under-15's best, Jaynee Park topped the under-13 poll and Stevie Clancy of Mermaids took the under-11 crown. Bullets' Tahlia Knox was the fairest and best in the under-10 grading.

Broome Netball's Tash Aristei said the season had been an overwhelming success.
