Police allegedly seized drugs from a vehicle stopped for a licence check in Broome yesterday morning.

A subsequent search of a motel room uncovered about $3000 cash, a bolt from a rifle, ammunition, drugs and various stolen property, police claim.

A 42-year-old Broome man has been charged with driving, drug, firearm and possessing stolen property offences.

He has been granted bail with reporting conditions and is due to appear in the Broome Magistrates' at a date in the future.
