Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre are hosting their BRAC 2 Beach fun run again this year, with people encouraged to don their running shoes on Sunday, July 19.

There is a choice of 5km and 10km courses, with an option for people of all fitness levels.

BRAC centre manager Casey Zepnick said there were prizes for the fastest male, female and junior, and for the sporting group, community group or workplace with the most entrants.

"In its fifth year, the BRAC 2 Beach Fun Run not only gives accomplished runners an opportunity to compete, but the 2015 event is focusing on attracting beginners to take part," he said.

"BRAC staff have developed a basic training plan available to those registered that will help even the most inexperienced runners to reach the finish line.

"Both fun run courses start at BRAC and finish beside the beach at Cable Beach Amphitheatre, and we will provide buses to return entrants to BRAC."

Early bird entry fees of $30 for adults, $15 for juniors/seniors/all access and $50 for a family of two adults and two children are available until Sunday, July 12.

After that date, entry costs will increase to $40 for adults, $25 for juniors/seniors/all access and $60 for families.

Entry forms are available from BRAC, SportsPower, [www.broome.wa.gov.au|www.broome.wa.gov.au] or by emailing mark.hubbard@broome.wa.gov.au.
