Handgun found in bike rider's waistband: police
A loaded .45 calibre handgun was allegedly found in the waistband of pants of a trail bike rider searched by police in Broome on Saturday.
Police said the bike entered a property on Dakas Street and the rider was "agitated, defensive and nervous" which raised officers' suspicions.
The man went against instructions and attempted to enter the premises.
A 36-year-old from Perth has been charged with firearm, drug and driving offences.
