Broome Soccer Association concluded its A and B-grade competitions last Wednesday with a furious grand finale.

In the main division, the winners were decided by a points system, which was taken out by Meatworks, who were in the lead over Pearlers by two points.

Both teams looked evenly matched under the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre lights at Father McMahon oval.

In the lead-up to the final B-grade competition of six teams, Pindan Warriors looked like certain favourites, winning every match they’d played, however their final opponents, Pitch Slap, proved too good, netting two goals and holding the Warriors goalless.

The BSA is expected to restart later this year with outdoor match registrations on July 20 and the start of the main season in early August.
