There are urgent welfare concerns for a man who went missing from a remote Aboriginal community in the Kimberley this week.

Nigel Graeme Buck, 41, is believed to have left his residence in the Yungngora Community — around 100km south west of Fitzroy Crossing — around 11pm on Tuesday.

Police say he has not been seen or heard from since.

Mr Buck is described as being dark-skinned, between 175-180cm tall and of medium build with brown hair and eyes.

“It is believed Mr Buck may be wearing a polo shirt with large crab and fish images on the front,” a police spokesman said. He is known to frequent the areas around Fitzroy Crossing and Derby.

Looma police are investigating his disappearance and hold concerns for the 41-year-olds safety and welfare.

Anyone who sees Mr Buck is urged to call police immediately on 131 444.
