In division 2, Shayne Marshall was named fairest and best despite his team Saints being beaten 9-4 by high-flying Shinju Stingers.
Chalkies were impressive in their 9-3 win over Untouchables and Bec Fall put in an inspired performance.
First National Rockets scored a last-gasp try to seal a dramatic victory over Kamikaze Kids, winning 8-7.
Young side Touch Too Much played well in the second half of their clash with Antics, but lost 9-6.
Tim Morton's pace helped Exploders beat Try Hards 12-6, while Alex Kay and Michelle Kruger helped in Trotters' 10-7 win over Yo Play.
