The penultimate round of Broome touch football last Thursday gave teams a chance to fine-tune their combinations ahead of the upcoming finals series.

In division 1, Greenbacks were losing 4-1 at half-time against Stingrays but showed spirit to rally and draw 4-4. Andy Graffen played well for Stingrays.

Bullets overcame a plucky Scoregasms side to prevail 11-6, with Troy Dahlstrom a stand-out for the defeated side.

Sharks were at full strength and had too much bite for Runaways, with Troy Dehar leading his side to a 10-3 win.

Avengers were in contention at half-time against defending premiers Tu Meke, but 10 unanswered points in the second 20 gave the undefeated favourites an 18-5 victory. CJ Oakley was a stand-out.

The Sofa Kings were too good for The Touchables, winning 11-4. Kiss My Pass were buoyed by the return of Andy Shaw and beat an under-strength Phoenix Flyers 9-4.

In division 2, Chalkies defeated the First National Rockets 6-2, with Tim Clear playing well for the victors.

Saints did not put in their best performance but had too much individual ability for Untouchables, winning 6-2.

Kamikaze Kids have improved dramatically since the start of the season and ran Yo Play close, ending up on the wrong end of a 7-5 scoreline.

Shinju Stingers are one of the favourites at this level and had too much in their locker for The Trotters, winning 11-3. Pat Moase stood out.

Exploders will be up there also, with Josh Murphy playing well in a 13-7 win over Antics.

Finally, the youth exuberance of Touch Too Much was rewarded as they shackled Try Hards to draw 6-6. Jordan Bacon and Peter Green were the best performers.
