VideoPresident Donald Trump has found a letter left for him by his predecessor Joe Biden, but he almost missed it while signing a raft of executive orders.

Former US President Joe Biden has set his eyes on Hollywood, signing on to one of tinsel town’s biggest talent agencies.

The 82-year-old has rejoined Creative Arts Agency just weeks after leaving the White House, in a sign he is not planning to keep a low profile.

“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” Richard Lovett, co-chair of CAA, said in a statement.

“His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”

Mr Biden joins Michelle and Barack Obama who did similar when they left the White House.

They established the Higher Ground media company which produces podcasts, films and TV shows, including the Oscar winning American Factory.

Mr Biden was previously represented by CAA between 2017 and 2020 — after his stint as vice president ended and before he became the Democrat presidential nominee in 2020.

During that time he published his memoir Promise Me Dad and launched the American Promise speaking tour.

Immediately after handing over the presidency to Donald Trump, Mr Biden and wife Jill took a trip to California for personal time.

They were reportedly staying at a private residence in Santa Ynez, in Santa Barbara.

When asked what his plans were post-presidency and whether he would keep “out of sight and out of mind”, Mr Biden is reported as saying “I’m not going to be out of sight or out of mind”.

In his farewell address Mr Biden warned of “the dangerous concentration of power in the hands of very few ultra-wealthy people, and the dangerous consequences if their abuse of power is left unchecked.”

“Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power, and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead.”
